PERC Rule (Pulmonary Embolism)

Mark a box if the patient has that finding (risk factor present):

Age ≥50 years Heart rate ≥100 beats/min Oxygen saturation <95% on room air Unilateral leg swelling Hemoptysis Estrogen use (e.g., oral contraceptive or hormone therapy) Prior DVT or PE Surgery or trauma requiring hospitalization in prior 4 weeks (or other major immobilization per local definition)

PERC-negative requires zero checked boxes AND very low pretest probability pathways—this page only checks the eight items.
