Same NHANES III reference as (Hankinson et al., 1999): age, height, sex, race/ethnicity; predicted PEF in L/min. Optional measured flow in L/sec for percent predicted. Height range follows published tables (male 122–206 cm, female 114–206 cm).
Values are taken from the published NHANES III multi-ethnic reference grids for peak expiratory flow (PEF) in L/s; this page interpolates between tabulated heights and ages, then converts to L/min.
Device-specific peak flow meters and GLI spirometry use different standards. This tool only reproduces the NHANES III table-based prediction, not a manufacturer nomogram.
