Revised Geneva Score (PE)
Eight items (max 22): age >65 (+1), prior PE/DVT (+3), surgery or lower-limb fracture <1 mo (+2), active cancer (+2), unilateral leg pain (+3), hemoptysis (+2), HR 75–94 (+3) or ≥95 (+5), deep-vein tenderness + unilateral edema (+4).

How it works
The revised Geneva score (Le Gal et al., 2006) estimates pretest probability of PE using only standardized clinical variables—no explicit “clinical judgment” item—making it easier to apply consistently than some gestalt-dependent rules.
Limits
Pregnancy, prior anticoagulation, alternate causes of tachycardia, and local definitions of “active cancer” are not modeled. Prevalence quotes are from the original validation paper and will differ in other settings. Always follow current institutional PE pathways.
