How it works
The Vancouver Chest Pain Rule identifies ED patients who may be safely discharged when all five high-risk features are absent (Christenson et al., 2010).
Limits
Validation varies by setting; troponin timing, high-sensitivity assays, and bundled pathways are not incorporated.
